Mitigating the unconsious bias

Neutrality is a fundamental aspect of police operations, requiring officers to act impartially, without preference or bias towards any individual, group, political party, or ideology. Police departments worldwide increasingly face accusations of ethnic profiling in policing activities. This practice diminishes community trust and complicates police work. Given the police's monopoly on power, neutrality is essential. While officers don’t have to and can not be entirely neutral, their role demands it, necessitating proper training.

To address these issues VR-Surveillance is used internationally to train officers in recognizing and reducing their own biases, enhance public trust and professionalize police stops to prevent ethnic profiling.
